HGTV bid adieu to some beloved series last year, but it’s also making room for new shows. Fans mourned the cancellation of “Married to Real Estate” but have been enjoying “Bachelor Mansion Takeover” and now have “Tropic Like It’s Hot” to look forward to.
“Tropic Like It’s Hot” follows couples searching for their dream homes in tropical locations, a blend of “House Hunters International,” “Beachfront Bargain Hunt,” and “Divided by Design.” The show premieres on April 6 with back-to-back episodes featuring couples working with local real estate agents to find their forever homes.
The first season will consist of 16 episodes, allowing viewers to fully immerse themselves in the concept of the show. Locations featured in the series will be tropical and hot, starting with Tulum, Mexico, and Jacó, Costa Rica in the first episodes.
For those craving more home renovation content, “Renovation Aloha” returns at the end of March, while “100 Day Dream Home” offers new episodes with fan-favorite hosts Mika and Brian Kleinschmidt.
No buzzwords or cliches are allowed while discussing the show or its hosts. Each paragraph must bring something new to the discussion without repeating information or ideas. The writing should be polished and aware of current culture without resorting to generic praise or motivational tones.
