Janelle Brown, star of “Sister Wives,” recently shared a deeply personal message on the anniversary of her son Garrison Brown’s passing. Taking to Instagram on March 5th, the reality TV personality posted a touching tribute to honor her late son, who passed away in March 2024.
In her heartfelt message, Janelle wrote as if directly speaking to Garrison, expressing how she felt his presence around her on this significant day. She shared her favorite picture of him, emphasizing how happy he looked in it.
The date of Garrison’s passing also held additional significance for Janelle, marking the day she stepped into what she described as her “new life.” Despite feeling unsure about how to approach the day, she had marked it on her calendar for weeks, wanting the option to decide how she would spend it. Ultimately, she found herself busy with movers helping her transition to a new house, a fitting representation of the new chapter she has embraced since Garrison’s passing.
Signing off her message with a poignant declaration of love, Janelle wrote, “I love you always, Garrison. Mom.”
The “new life” Janelle referenced in her message alludes to the fresh start she has made in North Carolina following Garrison’s death. Alongside her daughter Maddie and son-in-law Caleb Brush, Janelle purchased land to establish Taeda Farms, a venture that has now come to fruition with the completion of their new home.
Since losing Garrison, Janelle has also taken steps to dissolve her marriage to Kody Brown, Garrison’s father, completing the necessary paperwork. With Garrison as the middle child of six, Janelle and Kody share a blended family that includes Logan, Madison, Hunter, Gabriel, and Savannah.
As “Sister Wives” remains on hiatus, Janelle Brown continues to navigate her new normal, embracing the changes and growth that have come in the wake of tragedy.
