Steve Earle Announces “Fifty One Years of Songs and Stories” North American Tour

Steve Earle, the legendary ’80s country rocker, has just revealed plans for an extensive North American tour, marking an impressive 51 years in the music industry. The announcement came via Instagram on a Wednesday, sparking excitement among his dedicated fan base.

Dubbed the “Fifty One Years of Songs and Stories” tour, the journey will span 76 shows across various cities in North America, kicking off on May 26 in Alexandria, Virginia. Joining Earle on select dates as support acts are The Oak Ridge Boys and Reckless Kelly.

Having burst onto the music scene in 1982 with his debut EP, Earle found mainstream success in 1986 with his first full-length album, “Guitar Town,” topping the Billboard country chart. Over the years, he has released more than 20 studio albums between 1986 and 2024, carving out a distinctive place in the Americana genre by combining elements of outlaw country and rock.

Throughout his illustrious career, Earle has amassed three Grammy Awards and achieved induction into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2020 and the Grand Ole Opry in 2025, cementing his status as a trailblazing country rocker.

The tour dates cover a wide range of locations, from iconic music venues in cities like Nashville, TN and New York, NY, to festivals like the New Orleans Jazz Fest and appearances across Canada and Europe. Tickets for the tour will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. EST on Earle’s official website.
