The Toadies Announce The Charmer Tour and New Album Release

The Toadies made a big announcement this past Tuesday that has fans buzzing with excitement. The American rock band revealed plans for their upcoming spring tour, fittingly named The Charmer Tour. Traveling to cities across Texas, Tennessee, North Carolina, Philadelphia, Ohio, California, and more, from early May to mid-June, this tour promises to be a thrilling experience for Toadies fans. Joining them on select stops will be special guests Local H, Vandoliers, and Sparta, with The Black Angels making a special appearance during the Dallas show on May 2.

Adding to the excitement, The Toadies also shared that their new album, The Charmer, is set to be released on May 1 through Spaceflight Records. This will mark the band’s eighth studio album, recorded with the legendary Steve Albini at Electrical Audio studios in Chicago. Originally scheduled for release in 2025, the album’s debut was delayed multiple times following Albini’s tragic passing from a heart attack in May 2024. The Charmer will be the band’s first LP since their 2017 project, The Lower Side of Uptown.

Before the official release of The Charmer, The Toadies will embark on a mini tour in April, performing at various venues across Texas, Missouri, and Louisiana. This tour serves as a precursor to the album release and will undoubtedly get fans even more hyped for what’s to come.

Best known for their hit song “Possum Kingdom” from their debut album Rubberneck, The Toadies have a rich history in the rock music scene. Formed in Fort Worth, Texas in 1989, the band has seen its fair share of successes and challenges over the years. With various lineup changes and disbanding in 2001, followed by a reunion and new releases in the years that followed, The Toadies have established themselves as a force in the music industry.

Their EP Damn You All to Hell, released in 2022, served as a prelude to the band’s North American tour celebrating the 25th anniversary of Rubberneck. Throughout the years, The Toadies have continued to captivate audiences with their unique sound and energetic performances. Now consisting of members Vaden Todd Lewis, Mark Reznicek, Clark Vogeler, and Doni Blair, the band is gearing up for their next chapter with the release of The Charmer and accompanying tour.

Fans eagerly anticipating The Toadies’ The Charmer Tour can purchase tickets on the band’s official website. The Charmer will be available on all streaming platforms starting May 1, giving fans the opportunity to enjoy the band’s latest work wherever they go.
