David Tag: A McQueen Reunion

David Tag, known for his role as Sylver McQueen on Hollyoaks, left fans in shock as his character met a dramatic fate at the hands of his great-cousin and stepson, Bobby Costello. Now, after four years, Tag is making a special return to the iconic soap for a “What If” episode, reflecting on his time on set and revisiting his favorite memories as part of the beloved McQueen family.

Upon revisiting the Hollyoaks set, Tag felt right at home. “It was honestly like I’d never left,” he shared. “I was on set and we were just laughing like the old days, it was pretty amazing.” Tag also expressed excitement for viewers to see the special episode, promising that fans will see Sylver in a very different light.

The “What If” episode will also feature the return of familiar faces from Hollyoaks’ past, including Gemma Merna, Hollie-Jay Bowes, Leah Hackett, and Annie Wallace. Reflecting on filming the special, Tag shared some behind-the-scenes moments, including unexpected surprises and playful mishaps.
