A beloved couple is making a highly-anticipated return to Salem next week on Days of Our Lives. The official Days of Our Lives YouTube channel released a new weekly promo offering a sneak peek into what’s in store for the upcoming week of January 9 – 13, 2026.
In the promo, viewers witness Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) sharing exciting news with his grandmother Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes). Eli reveals that he, his wife Lani (Sal Stowers), and their twins are gearing up to move back to Salem.
Fans have been speculating for a while about the reasons behind Eli and Lani’s return to Salem. Spotting Stowers and Archey on set recently, accompanied by their involvement in behind-the-scenes content on the official Days of Our Lives social media, only heightened expectations of their eventual comeback.

Stowers debuted on Days of Our Lives in 2015 as Lani Price, originally thought to be the daughter of Abe Carver (James Reynolds) and Tamara Price (Marilyn McCoo). Archey joined the series in 2017 as Eli Grant, Julie Williams’ grandson.
