Bravo’s popular culinary competition show, Top Chef, is set to return for its 23rd season in a few weeks. The network has revealed the premiere date, early viewing options, and the lineup of chefs competing this season.
Set in the Carolinas, Season 23 of Top Chef will feature longer episodes, a format twist involving life partners and identical twins, and new challenges designed to push the chefs’ endurance, creativity, and technical skills to the limit.
The new season premieres on Monday, March 9, at 9:00–10:15 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo. Fans can get a sneak peek of the first episode on Tuesday, March 3, through Peacock, Bravo’s YouTube channel, and VOD platforms. Episodes will be extended to 75 minutes this season.
Top Chef Season 23 will air weekly on Bravo and be available for streaming the following day on Peacock. Additionally, the digital companion series, Top Chef: Last Chance Kitchen, hosted by head judge Tom Colicchio, will return on March 30 for its 15th season.
This season, 15 rising-star chefs will compete for the title of Top Chef. For the first time since Season 6, identical twin brothers will face off in the competition, adding a new dynamic to the show.
Filmed in Charlotte, North Carolina, with episodes in Greenville, South Carolina, the challenges this season will highlight the region’s culinary traditions and showcase local ingredients. The chefs will also visit Asheville, North Carolina, for a community-focused challenge.
Hosted by Kristen Kish, with head judge Tom Colicchio and judge Gail Simmons, Season 23 will feature a diverse lineup of guest judges and appearances, including comedians, actors, culinary icons, and former Top Chef winners.
The winner of Top Chef Season 23 will receive a cash prize of $250,000, a feature in Food & Wine magazine, an appearance at the Food & Wine Classic in Aspen, and more than $150,000 in additional prizes throughout the season.
