Onboard the upcoming Beachcomber ship from Margaritaville at Sea, the bar is not just a place to grab a drink—it’s the main attraction. Scheduled for launch in early 2027, this new vessel is designed around seven distinct lounges and drinking spots, each offering a unique experience for guests.
Rather than simply focusing on quantity, Beachcomber aims to encourage guests to explore and try something new each night. From hidden speakeasies to lively music lounges, the ship’s lineup of bars promises a memorable bar crawl experience like no other.
“The bars aboard Beachcomber are designed to be social and approachable,” explained Eric Neuwirth, Vice President of Food & Beverage at Margaritaville at Sea. “Each venue has its own identity while maintaining a consistent level of hospitality to create an atmosphere where guests can connect and linger.”
While some favorite Margaritaville staples will make a return, such as Hemisphere Dancer Craft Spirits and 5 o’Clock Somewhere Bar, Beachcomber also introduces exciting new additions. Cowboy in the Jungle, a plush speakeasy focusing on rum and agave spirits, offers a sophisticated cocktail experience for a select few guests.
Daiquiri Shack, on the other hand, is a poolside oasis dedicated entirely to frozen drinks, featuring a rotating menu beyond the usual flavors. The Polynesian Lounge combines classic tiki influences with live music and games, while LandShark Sports Bar provides a laid-back spot for catching a game.
Flip Flop Bar serves as the ship’s social hub, offering a vibrant atmosphere with music and energy. Lah De Dah Juice Bar caters to those seeking non-alcoholic options, serving up smoothies and mocktails. The Front Yard focuses on spritzes and aperitif-style drinks, perfect for late afternoons, while Floridays pairs coastal plates with sangria for a relaxed evening.
Anchoring the ship’s nightlife is Same Boat, a live-music venue in collaboration with Zac Brown, providing an easygoing bar atmosphere for guests to enjoy.
