In the world of reality TV drama, tensions run high, especially when it comes to property sales and confidentiality agreements. Recently, a star of TLC’s hit show Sister Wives made some shocking allegations against Robyn Brown, claiming that an NDA was used to silence family members during the sale of the Brown family’s Coyote Pass property. This bombshell revelation came during the first installment of the show’s One on One episodes, where Janelle Brown, ex-wife of Kody Brown, spilled the tea on the behind-the-scenes drama.
According to Janelle, Robyn’s reported use of an NDA halted a pending sale of the family property. Janelle claimed that a potential buyer was ready to make a deal until Robyn and Kody presented her and Meri Brown with a confidentiality agreement to sign as co-owners of the land. This unexpected twist in the property sale left both Janelle and Meri feeling blindsided and silenced.
In a candid discussion with One on One host Sukanya Krishnan, Janelle detailed the events that unfolded during the sale process. She revealed that while she, Meri, and Kody had swiftly completed the necessary paperwork for the sale, Robyn suddenly introduced a confidentiality agreement that would prevent them from discussing the deal or taking further actions. This move by Robyn was perceived as a power play by Janelle, leaving a bitter taste in the mouths of the involved parties.
Despite the initial deal falling through due to the NDA drama, the buyer remained interested, and eventually, the land was successfully sold. People Magazine previously reported that the property fetched $1.5 million in a sale that took place in April 2025. This sale marked the end of the Brown family’s ownership of the Flagstaff, Arizona raw land, which they had purchased in 2018 with grand plans for each wife to have her own home on the property.
However, as time passed, the dream of developing the property never materialized, leading to the eventual sale and division of shares among the family members. In a surprising turn of events, Christine Brown, who was also married to Kody at the time of the purchase, sold her share back to the family for a mere $10 in 2021. Shortly after, both Janelle and Meri left their marriages to Kody, signaling the end of an era for the Sister Wives family.
As the second installment of Sister Wives’ One on One season-ending specials approaches, fans are left wondering what other revelations may come to light in the ongoing saga of the Brown family. Tune in on Sunday, January 18 at 10 p.m. ET on TLC to catch all the drama and intrigue as it unfolds.
