Kourtney Kardashian Stays Firm on Her Kids’ Diet, But Daughter Penelope Pushes Back

Kourtney Kardashian Barker remains as strict as ever when it comes to what her kids eat– but her daughter, Penelope, is starting to push back.

In this week’s episode of The Kardashians, family matriarch Kris Jenner, 69, takes 10 of her 13 grandchildren to a pumpkin patch.

As she loads them into a sprinter van and offers snacks like Gatorade and lollipops, Kourtney pulls up in her own car.

“Hi! Happy October, it’s my time to shine,” says Kourtney, 45, before joking to her mom, “Good luck with Reign and Saint.”

Penelope, 12, then asks her mom, “Can I just go with you guys?” refusing to ride with her cousins. When Kourtney asks if she doesn’t want to be with her cousins, Penelope insists, “No! You come with me!”

Once at the pumpkin patch, Kourtney asks Kris how the ride went.

“Interesting,” Kris replies.

“Saint, dipping the lollipop into the Gatorade? Next level,” Kourtney says, commenting on her nephew’s unconventional snack choice. “I can’t believe that’s the snacks you guys have.”

“I didn’t pick ‘em!” Kris responds. “I gave specifics and I said no food coloring, which is Gatorade, I gave specific popsicles.”

“Who buys Gatorade?” Kourtney says. “It’s like eating poison.”

“It’s fine, he already had it,” Penelope chimes in, calming her mom, who replies, “Yeah.”

Back in July, Kourtney shared an Instagram Reel celebrating Penelope’s 12th birthday, marking the last year before her teens. The video showed a birthday cake with white icing, flowers, and 12 candles, accompanied by a caption that read, “12 years young”

New episodes of The Kardashians air Thursdays at 12 a.m. ET on Hulu.
