Brittany Cartwright Files For Divorce From Jax Taylor

Reality TV stars Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor are calling it quits on their five-year marriage.

Brittany filed for divorce on August 27, 2024, in Los Angeles, citing the end of their relationship.

The couple, who share a child together, rose to fame on the show “Vanderpump Rules.”

According to court documents, Brittany is seeking a limited number of assets from Jax as they go their separate ways, marking the end of their tumultuous relationship.

Brittany Cartwright cited “irreconcilable differences” in court documents obtained from the Stanley Mosk Courthouse in Los Angeles.

In the filing, Brittany requested that neither she nor Jax (whose real name is Jason Michael Cauchi) receive spousal support.

However, she is seeking to retain the assets she acquired during the marriage, including gifts and properties given to her by Jax.

The court documents note that the exact nature and extent of the couple’s debts and assets have not yet been determined.

Brittany wants full custody of the couple’s son, Cruz.

Brittany is also seeking “legal and physical custody” of their son, Cruz, who was born in 2021.

If custody is granted, Brittany has agreed to allow Jax visitation rights. The couple’s only child is Cruz.

Brittany and Jax started their relationship during their time on Vanderpump Rules and tied the knot in 2019.

Fans of Bravo witnessed the ups and downs of their marriage on Season 1 of The Valley.

Although they had been living separately since January 2024, they officially announced their separation the following February.

In a candid moment on their podcast, Brittany shared, “Yes, marriages, in general, are very challenging, and this past year has been particularly tough for me.”

She explained that she and Jax are taking a break, and Brittany has chosen to move to a different residence to prioritize her mental well-being.

Both Jax and Brittany have remained silent about their divorce in public statements.
