Will Euphoria’s Third Season Take a Time Jump? Zendaya Confirms Changes Are Coming!

Exciting news for Euphoria fans! Zendaya, the star of HBO’s hit series, has confirmed that the show’s third season will take a significant leap forward in time.

While details are still scarce, Zendaya revealed that the time jump will allow the characters to grow beyond their high school years and explore new horizons.

“I don’t know much about what’s happening, but I do know that the time jump is happening,” Zendaya shared in an interview with Entertainment Weekly.

“It’s important because there’s only so much high school drama you can deal with. It’ll be fascinating to see these characters outside of the context of high school and how their past experiences shape their adulthood.”

The confirmation comes after Jacob Elordi, who plays Nate Jacobs, hinted at a time jump in a previous interview. “I’m assuming we’re going to have to go forward, otherwise it’s going to seem like a weird bit,” he joked.

HBO has announced the production date for the new season as January 2025, with the return of the principal cast members, excluding Angus Cloud, who sadly passed away in July 2023. Colman Domingo, who plays Rue’s sponsor Ali, shared his hopes for the upcoming season and assured fans that answers will come soon.

While Euphoria won’t return this year, fans can look forward to a fresh start and new storylines in the highly anticipated third season.
