The Black Queen Announces North America Tour After Seven-Year Hiatus

The Black Queen, an electronic music supergroup, has announced their North America tour after a seven-year hiatus. The tour was revealed on Tuesday afternoon via Instagram, coinciding with the 10-year anniversary of their debut album, “Fever Daydream.”

Formed in 2015, The Black Queen consists of Greg Puciato, Joshua Eustis, and Steven Ryan Alexander, each bringing their unique talents to create a blend of atmospheric, synth-heavy sounds. This marked a departure for Puciato, known for his roots in metalcore music.

Their first album, “Fever Daydream,” released in 2016, received critical acclaim for seamlessly blending genres and incorporating R&B-infused electronic sounds. The band was able to evoke ’80s nostalgia while embracing contemporary production elements. In 2018, they followed up with “Infinite Games,” showcasing their versatility outside of their musical roots.

Despite the success of their first two albums, the group took a break after touring for “Infinite Games.” Puciato recently reassured fans that they are working on new projects and preparing for their third album.

The 10-year anniversary tour will kick off in Portland, Oregon, on May 8 and will visit 15 cities across North America. The supporting act for the tour will be announced soon.

Tickets for the tour will go on sale on Friday through the band’s website. It’s a chance for fans to see The Black Queen back in action after their hiatus and experience their unique blend of electronic music live.
