Taylor Swift’s mum didn’t write Travis Kelce’s name on her shirt as she arrived to cheer him on at his latest Kansas City Chiefs game, but she came close.
While attending the team’s home game against the Cincinnati Bengals with her daughter on 15th September, Andrea Swift wore a red shirt with a pin that read “In my 87 era,” referencing Travis’ jersey number and Taylor’s ongoing Eras tour.
Taylor, currently on a break from her tour and set to resume in mid-October, arrived wearing an oversized Chiefs T-shirt and thigh-high black leather boots. She was joined in a stadium suite by her mum, Andrea, her brother, Austin Swift, friends Este and Danielle Haim from the band HAIM, and Travis’ mum, Donna Kelce.
Taylor has attended most of Travis’ games since they began dating a year ago, often bringing along her friends, family, and parents, Scott and Andrea Swift.
Both Taylor’s and Travis’ parents were also seen together in the Kelce family’s suite at the 2024 Super Bowl, where the Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers. After the game, Taylor included her mum and dad in a TikTok video she filmed at an after-party with Travis, marking the first time they appeared in her social media post.
Taylor has been spotted with Donna and Travis’ dad, Ed Kelce, multiple times at Chiefs games, most recently on 5th September during the team’s season opener.
This event came just days after Taylor gave Travis a sweet shoutout during her acceptance speech for Video of the Year at the 2024 MTV VMAs for her “Fortnight” collaboration with Post Malone.
“It actually was the most fun video to make,” Taylor said in her speech while attending the show without Travis. “Something I’ll always remember is when I’d finish a take, I’d say ‘cut,’ and I’d hear someone cheering from across the studio.”
She added, “That one person was my boyfriend, Travis.”
