As the countdown to the highly-anticipated season 50 of “Survivor” begins, the cast is already buzzing with speculation about who poses the biggest threat in the game. In a recent TikTok video shared by the official “Survivor” account, the cast of “Survivor 50: In the Hands of the Fans” weigh in on the types of players they are keeping a close eye on.
“The biggest threat in these games with returning player seasons are the most normal people,” noted Christian Hubicki. Echoing his sentiments, Emily Flippen added, “So I really don’t want to be on a tribe with a bunch of big physical threats.”
Jenna Lewis shared a different perspective, stating, “I think the biggest threat in this game is never the one that is going to sit here and paint themselves as the biggest threat.”
However, some castaways were more direct in naming the players they perceive as threats. Survivor 48 winner Kyle Fraser praised Charlie Davis, stating, “I think Charlie’s played one of the best Survivor games we’ve seen in a long time. I’m worried that people might have forgotten about it, and he might be able to pull it off again.”
Stephenie LaGrossa Kendrick highlighted Kamilla Karthigesu as a major threat, emphasizing her near-win in season 48. Karthigesu herself acknowledged the need to distance herself from Fraser in the game to avoid being targeted.
With the upcoming season featuring returning contestants from season 49, including Savannah Louie and Rizo Velovic, former winner Dee Valladares expressed concern about the unknown factor they bring to the game. Similarly, Angelina Keeley and Ozzy Lusth considered these players as wild cards.
Amidst the excitement and anticipation for season 50, the speculation and strategizing among the cast continue to build. As the premiere date of “Survivor 50: In the Hands of the Fans” approaches, viewers can expect a thrilling and unpredictable season filled with intense competition and strategic gameplay.
Stay tuned for the premiere of “Survivor 50: In the Hands of the Fans” on Wednesday, Feb. 25, with a special three-hour episode on CBS.
