Beloved actress Sherrie Hewson recently left her role on the long-running TV show “Hollyoaks” after nearly two years. The 75-year-old actress played the matriarch of the Blake family before meeting a gruesome end on the show.
Although her time on “Hollyoaks” has come to an end, Hewson is not ready to retire just yet. With previous roles on English soaps like “Coronation Street” and “Emmerdale,” she is open to new opportunities, including potentially joining the cast of “EastEnders.”
Hewson expressed her desire to continue acting, emphasizing that older actors deserve more representation on television. She noted that older viewers are often overlooked and stereotyped in commercials, calling for more diverse and authentic portrayals of mature characters on screen.
