Seyi Makinde, the Oyo state governor in the South Western part of Nigeria has just tested positive for the Corona Virus.
Governor Seyi Makinde made this announcement on his Twitter page, and also went on to say he is currently asymptomatic.
He also handed over leadership of the COVID-19 Task Force to the former Chief Medical Director of the University College, Ibadan so he can go into self isolation and recover fully.

This makes him the third Nigerian governor to be infected by the disease.
