Kate Cassidy, Liam Payne’s girlfriend, has broken her silence following the singer’s tragic death at 31. In an emotional Instagram post, Cassidy expressed her heartbreak and appreciation for the overwhelming support she’s received.
“I’ve been at a complete loss,” she shared. “Nothing about the past few days feels real.” She requested privacy as she navigates her grief, adding, “I ask and pray that you’ll give me the grace and space to do so.”
Cassidy ended her tribute with a heartfelt message to Payne: “Liam, my angel. You are everything. I loved you unconditionally and completely. I will continue to love you for the rest of my life. I love you, Liam.”
The couple had been publicly together since October 2022, despite some reports of breakups. They were last seen together in July 2023. Payne tragically passed away on October 16 after falling from his hotel balcony at CasaSur Palermo Hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The autopsy report confirmed multiple injuries and internal/external haemorrhages as the cause of death.
