Vice President of the United States, Kamala Harris made an unexpected cameo on “Saturday Night Live,” taking a brief pause from her hectic campaign tour through key battleground states.
Harris joined Maya Rudolph, who was portraying her in a humorous skit. In a playful exchange, Harris told her on-screen counterpart, “you got this,” and, together, they delivered the iconic line, “Live from New York, it’s Saturday Night!”
Harris flew into New York on Air Force Two following a campaign rally in North Carolina. Initially set to continue to Detroit, her aides announced an impromptu stop after she was already in the air.
Meanwhile, former President Donald Trump spent Saturday on the campaign trail as well, holding rallies in Salem, Virginia, and Greensboro, North Carolina.
