Sources close to the situation have revealed that Angelina Jolie, 49, and British rapper Akala, 40, have been spending quality time together, bonding over their shared interest in history.
According to insiders, Akala has introduced Jolie to his friends and family, and has been educating her on Britain’s colonial past and prominent Black figures in British history. Their conversations have reportedly covered topics such as the Kelso Cochrane story and Olive Morris.
The rumored couple was spotted separately at the London Film Festival on Thursday, but sources claim they are “seeing each other and hanging out regularly.” Akala is said to admire Jolie’s fearless and independent nature.
However, a separate source disputes the romantic connection, alleging that Akala is actually dating his business partner, Chanelle Newman.
Despite efforts to keep their relationship under wraps using separate cars and secret entrances, insiders describe their romance as “the real deal.” The pair has been photographed together at various events, including the New York Film Festival on September 29, accompanied by Jolie’s son Pax, 20.
