The Grand Ole Opry celebrates its historic 100th anniversary this summer in a spectacular fashion. The legendary country music institution has unveiled its “Summer of the Century” celebration, featuring a star-studded lineup of performances, tribute shows, and special events with some of the biggest names in the industry.
Among the artists scheduled to appear throughout the summer season are Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, Trisha Yearwood, Rodney Crowell, Jordan Davis, Tanya Tucker, Scotty McCreery, Darius Rucker, Chris Janson, Craig Morgan, and many others. The centerpiece of the festivities will be the annual CMA Fest week celebration in Nashville, featuring special performances by Carrie Underwood, Avery Anna, Jordan Davis, Maddox Batson, Deana Carter, and additional guests.
The Grand Ole Opry has also announced a special tribute concert on June 10 honoring the late country legend Don Williams, known as the “Gentle Giant.” Stars like Keith Urban, Trisha Yearwood, and Rodney Crowell will pay homage to Williams and his impactful contribution to country music.
Later in the month, the venue will showcase the “Opry Celebrates ’90s Country” event, a tribute to the era that defined the decade with its artists, songs, and neo-traditional sound. In addition to these major concerts, the “Summer of the Century” programming includes backstage tours and a free Outdoor Concert Series on Fridays and Saturdays from Memorial Day to Labor Day weekends.
