During her appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Wednesday, Jennifer Aniston addressed various rumours that have circulated about her over the years.
Host Jimmy Kimmel presented her with a copy of InTouch magazine’s August edition, which featured a side-by-side photo of Aniston and former President Barack Obama, accompanied by the headline, “The Truth About Jen and Barack.”
Aniston clarified that the claims regarding her close relationship with Obama are false, stating that she has only met Barack once and knows his wife, Michelle Obama, “better.”
She also denied the rumours about installing an expensive anti-aging water filter for her dogs and having a black belt in jiu-jitsu.
However, she did acknowledge the truth in a few other rumours, including her preference for unconventional beauty treatments such as salmon sperm facials and her habit of travelling with jars of olives. Aniston also recounted an incident where a fan approached her for a selfie while she was naked in a sauna.
Furthermore, she confirmed the unusual fact that she keeps a zip-lock bag filled with her late therapist’s ashes, explaining that she considered her therapist to be a mother figure.
Aniston previously revealed in a 2012 interview with GQ that she attended her therapist’s funeral, where the ashes were distributed in small zip-lock bags.
