Could Megan Thee Stallion Be the Ultimate Sex and the City Fan We Didn’t Know We Needed?

Megan Thee Stallion recently shared her newfound enthusiasm for Sex and the City after binge-watching the series for the first time.

During her Oct. 23 appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the “Body” rapper revealed that she’d become hooked on the iconic show starring Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis, and Cynthia Nixon.

“Nobody told me Sex and the City was this good!” the 29-year-old said, expressing surprise that nobody had previously recommended it to her for “the culture.”

Megan, who watches the show during workouts and while in glam, has some strong opinions about the four main characters: Parker’s Carrie, Davis’ Charlotte, Cattrall’s Samantha, and Nixon’s Miranda. Megan strongly identifies with Samantha’s confident, no-nonsense attitude, calling her “a picture of me.” Initially skeptical, she quickly warmed to Samantha, saying, “She runs men. She doesn’t let men run her.”

She also has a soft spot for Charlotte, whom she described as a “little delulu” but “cute.” However, she isn’t a fan of Miranda, calling her “the worst character” and criticising her for her negative attitude. On the other hand, Megan adores Steve (David Eigenberg), Miranda’s ex, saying he’s the “best character” and deserved better.

Lastly, Megan found herself both mesmerised and baffled by Carrie Bradshaw. Despite admiring Carrie’s beauty, Megan questioned some of her dramatic choices, noting, “She could have chosen sanity but she always chose insanity. And I had to wonder, is that me?”
