Chicago, the legendary rock band of the 1970s, has recently announced an additional tour date in Pennsylvania as part of their “Windy City” summer tour. The news was shared via Instagram on a Monday morning, following the unveiling of their 2026 U.S. tour plans, which includes a nine-day residency at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas, supported by fellow rock band STYX.
The newly added show is set to take place on June 23 at the Hershey Theatre in Hershey, PA. Presale tickets will be available to members of the Chicago Fan Club on Tuesday, with general sales opening to the public on Friday at 10 a.m. ET on the band’s official website.
Chicago, formed in 1967 by a group of talented musicians, has left an indelible mark on the music industry with their unique horn-driven soft rock sound. Since the release of their debut album, “Chicago Transit Authority,” in 1969, the band has gone on to produce 26 studio albums and numerous classic hits, such as “Make Me Smile,” “Beginnings,” and “If You Leave Me Now,” selling over 100 million records worldwide.
Receiving accolades such as two Grammy Awards, including a Lifetime Achievement Award, and inductions into both the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and the Songwriters Hall of Fame, Chicago has solidified their place in music history. Billboard even recognized them as the leading singles-charting group in the U.S. during the 1970s.
The legacy of Chicago continues to inspire and captivate audiences worldwide, showcasing their unparalleled talent and enduring influence on the music scene. Their upcoming tour promises to be a memorable experience for fans old and new alike.
