Liz Fletcher – Age, Family, Bio

Liz Fletcher is a voice actress born on July 13, 1983, in Michigan, USA. Liz came from a musical family; her parents sang, and her stepfather played the saxophone.

Her maiden name was Liz Marsland. It was at the London School of Musical Theatre and the Manchester School of Acting that she received her training. 

Liz has shared the stage with Robin Aspland, Alan Barnes, Tony Coe, Jim Mullen, and more.

Her vocals were featured on Phil Parnell’s electronica single “Run Away” from his album “Do Your Living in the Night.” Liz had previously recorded with ’45 Dip,’ where she co-wrote the hit trip-hop song “Lizzie’s Balloon.” She had also recorded vocals on the Montana Rusa album with the Latin/house band “Los Ladrones,” composed and produced by Chris Bemand.

In addition to receiving positive reviews in the US, Germany, France, Canada, and Ireland, the song was praised by Radio 1 DJ Giles Peterson and Mr. Scruff.

Alan Barnes, a world-renowned saxophonist, and Alan Plater, a highly esteemed British playwright, collaborated on the 2004 CD “Songs For Unsung Heroes,” which Liz was honored to record.

While performing at festivals and concerts in the UK in 2007, Liz collaborated with composer Patrick Wilson and documentary filmmaker Oliver Hodge. She composed and sang the song’s lyrics, later set to music in the Oscar-winning film Garbage Warrior.

Liz launched her record label, AudioLoob, in 2012 and released an album named “Liz” that same year. She showcased her production chops and contributed some original music to this project. 

In 2013, the director and bass player of the renowned Jiving Miss Daisy band, Simon Thorpe, invited Liz to join as principal singer. Since then, Liz has had a blast performing at numerous London venues, including Ronnie Scotts, The Ivy, The Cafe Royal, The Birmingham Rep, and more.

During her busy playing at Boisdale Belgravia, Jiving Miss Daisy, and other venues around London, Liz has been collaborating with her longtime friend and producer Chris Bemand on new material for an extended play (EP).

She and her husband, Kelvin Fletcher, wrote a book on their life on the farm called “Fletchers on the Farm” and it came out in 2022. 

She wed actor Kelvin Fletcher, who she had loved since childhood. The couple’s four children were Marnie, Milo, Maximus, and Mateusz.
