Aoki Lee Simmons, daughter of Russell Simmons, has publicly voiced support for Sean “Diddy” Combs’ children amidst the ongoing allegations against their father.
In an Instagram Live session, the 22-year-old emphasised her empathy for Diddy’s children, calling them “wonderful people” who deserve understanding, despite the controversy surrounding their father.
Aoki shared that, as children, they should not be held accountable for their father’s actions, saying, “It’s not their fault that anything—adults, that’s adult business, and they’re not adults.” Her words reflect her own experience, as her father, Russell Simmons, has also faced allegations of sexual misconduct.
Diddy’s children—including Justin, Quincy, Christian, Jessie, D’Lila, Chance, and two-year-old Love—have largely remained united. They recently attended a court hearing in support of their father, who denies all allegations.
Aoki’s mother, Kimora Lee Simmons, had a close friendship with Kim Porter, the late mother of three of Diddy’s children. This familial bond may have influenced Aoki’s public remarks.
While offering support, Aoki urged the public to be kind to Diddy’s children, reminding people that five of them, although now adults, are still relatively young.
This call for compassion comes amidst significant family challenges, as a source close to the Combs family noted that Diddy is deeply concerned for his children’s well-being and is finding strength through faith.
