A new year is here and with it comes multiple dreams, goals and desires. With all three of these comes the need to lock in and build intentional attitudes that would ensure they are accomplished.
In our latest listicle, Urban Woman Magazine asked some women to share what is in their lock in starter pack for their 2026 goals.

Journalling. First thing in the morning. I’m trying to make it thrice every week. It helps me actually get into writing short stories and essays without picking up my phone and doomscrolling.
Starting confused, scared and a little deranged. I walked out of my house with my CV in the first week of January to look for jobs because I can’t stay idle this year. I’ve decided to do this year with the audacity of a mad man.
Accountability partners: I have three now. I also set deadlines for myself. If I don’t have anything written by a particular date then I won’t apply. I won’t rush. This way, if I miss out on something, I will most definitely blame myself and then do better.
Talking a lot more too because a closed mouth is a closed destiny. I’m ratting off to everyone at the slightest sign that I’m a content writer that also ghostwrites at the side and is currently working on getting a certificate in content marketing and strategy.

Speaking kinder to myself.
