Victoria Monét, acclaimed songwriter and collaborator with artists like Ariana Grande, is set to release her debut children’s book Everywhere You Are in summer 2025. Illustrated by Alea Marley, the book will be available in both English and Spanish and is aimed at children ages 2-5.
The story explores the comforting relationship between a moon and a young star as they part at dawn, addressing themes of separation anxiety.
Monét shared that creating a children’s book has been a longtime dream, and she found this project especially meaningful as a mother. The book offered her a way to reflect on the challenges of balancing work with parenting her daughter Hazel, born in 2021, and to ease feelings of guilt tied to time spent away from her child.
Monét, who made her daughter the youngest-ever Grammy nominee at age 3 by featuring her on a song, hopes the book will become a timeless source of comfort for children and parents alike, fostering a sense of connection and emotional resilience across generations.
