Tina Knowles ‘Couldn’t Believe’ Beyoncé Won Album of the Year at the 2025 Grammys

Tina Knowles-Lawson is beaming with pride after her daughter Beyoncé’s big wins at the 2025 Grammy Awards.

In a preview clip from “The Jennifer Hudson Show,” Knowles-Lawson shared her reaction to Beyoncé taking home Best Country Album and Album of the Year for “Cowboy Carter.”

“I was at her house, helping her and Blue Ivy get ready. I was shocked!” Knowles-Lawson exclaimed.

“Beyoncé looked surprised too. I was sitting with Rumi and Sir, and when she won, I said, ‘Oh, it’s real!’ I couldn’t believe it.”

Knowles-Lawson admitted she was surprised by the wins, given Beyoncé’s past nominations.

This was Beyoncé’s first Album of the Year win, and “Cowboy Carter” won Best Country Album despite receiving no nominations at the CMA Awards.

The proud mom also shared a funny moment when Blue Ivy, Beyoncé’s daughter, took charge after her mom’s win.

“Blue Ivy is like, ‘Get up!’ They call her the manager. She’s a bossy little Capricorn like her grandma!” Knowles-Lawson laughed.

Beyoncé’s winning streak continues! In addition to Best Country Album and Album of the Year, she also won Best Country Duo/Group Performance with Miley Cyrus for their hit “II Most Wanted.”

With these latest wins, Beyoncé solidifies her position as the most-decorated artist in Grammys history, boasting an impressive 35 wins and 99 nominations.
