Tosin Dokpesi is the 54-year-old wife of Raymond Dokpesi and a Nigerian broadcaster and broadcast administrator with a distinguished career of close to 3 decades. She is also the Managing Director of Africa Independent Television (AIT).
Education
Tosin Dokpesi earned a BSc. in Zoology from the University of Lagos in 1994, followed by a Post Graduate Diploma in Mass Communication in 2000.
She also possesses a Management Diploma from ITPAN, as well as a Diploma in Television Broadcasting from the United States Telecommunication Training Institute (USTTI).
She has also been awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Philosophy in Public Communications by Wisconsin University, USA, in recognition of her exceptional contributions to the broadcast industry.
Career
Tosin Dokpesi’s career began with Multimedia Limited as a TV presenter, but she truly thrived when she joined DAAR Communications Ltd in 1996. In recognition of her exceptional work, she was appointed Managing Director of Africa Independent Television (AIT) in 2008. She sits on the board of Daar Communications Plc, and is a member of both the Nigeria Union of Journalists and the Nigerian Institute of Management.
