Rochelle Eulah Eileen Humes was born on March 21, 1989, in Barking, London, England. Her parents divorced when she was three years old, and she was raised by her mother, Roz, her stepfathers, and her uncle, former footballer Paul Ince.
Rochelle attended Frances Bardsley Academy for Girls and Colin’s Performing Arts School. Her heritage includes Jamaican roots from her father’s side and English from her mother’s. Rochelle has two half-sisters, Sophie and Lili, and a half-brother, Jake, from her father’s side.

Career
Rochelle began her music career as a member of S Club Juniors, which was formed in 2001. The group later rebranded as S Club 8. Their debut single, One Step Closer, marked the start of their success. The group released several singles and albums, including Automatic High and New Direction, achieving significant commercial success.
In 2007, Rochelle joined The Saturdays, a girl group that gained immense popularity with hits like If This Is Love, Up, and What About Us. The group’s albums, including Chasing Lights and Wordshaker, achieved Platinum and Silver statuses. They enjoyed a successful career with multiple top-ten singles and albums until they went on hiatus in 2014.
Rochelle transitioned into television presenting after The Saturdays’ hiatus. Her early presenting roles included Smile and Sweat the Small Stuff. She later co-hosted Ninja Warrior UK and The Xtra Factor. Rochelle has also been a regular guest host on This Morning and co-presented The Hit List with her husband, Marvin Humes. Her other TV credits include Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Special, The Next Great Magician, and Children in Need.
Rochelle launched her first clothing range with Very in 2014 and later worked with New Look. She published her debut children’s book, The Mega Magic Hair Swap, in 2019 and started her skincare brand, My Little Coco, in 2020. She also released her cookbook, At Mama’s Table, in 2021.
Personal Life
Rochelle married Marvin Humes of JLS on July 27, 2012, at Blenheim Palace. The couple has three children: Alaia-Mai (born May 2013), Valentina Raine (born March 2017), and Blake Hampton (born October 2020). They celebrated their 10th anniversary by renewing their vows in Lake Como, Italy.
