Victoria Scone

Victoria Scone, born Emily Diapre on April 6, 1993, in Portsmouth, England, is a British drag queen and cabaret performer currently based in Cardiff, Wales. 

Known for being the first cisgender female contestant on any series of the Drag Race franchise, Victoria has gained popularity in the drag community. She has appeared on both RuPaul’s Drag Race UK and Canada’s Drag Race: Canada vs. The World, showcasing her talent as a performer and becoming a fan favorite.

Early Age

Victoria Scone, originally named Emily Diapre, grew up in Portsmouth, England. Details about her parents and their occupations are not widely known. However, her upbringing in the UK influenced her stage persona.

As a child, she developed a passion for performing arts, which later led her to pursue professional acting, singing, and dancing training.

Education

Victoria is professionally trained in acting, singing, and dancing. Her training has helped her become a well-rounded performer, often described as a ‘triple threat.’ 

Before starting her drag career, she worked as a sales and events coordinator. This combination of professional skills has greatly contributed to her success in the competitive world of drag.

Career

Victoria Scone began her drag career in 2018 and quickly made a name for herself in the drag community. She chose her stage name to reflect her British heritage and playful personality, explaining that ‘Scone’ is both an edible treat and a pun (‘Victoria’s gone!’). 

In 2021 Victoria made history by becoming the first cisgender female contestant on RuPaul’s Drag Race UK, season 3. Although she placed in the top two in the first episode, she had to withdraw in the third episode due to an injury. 

Despite this setback, she remained beloved and returned to compete in Canada’s Drag Race: Canada vs. The World in 2022. She considerably placed in the Top 2 and made it to the finale, ultimately tying for third place.

Personal Life

Victoria is a proud lesbian who uses she/her pronouns while in drag and she/her or they/them pronouns outside of drag. During the airing of Canada vs. the World in December 2022, she proposed to her girlfriend, Dani Buckland, but they separated three months later in March 2023. 

Despite the breakup, Victoria continues to captivate fans with her performances and vibrant personality. She maintains a strong presence on social media, with over 205,000 followers on Instagram.
