Toriah Lachell is a 23-year-old native of St. Louis, Missouri and the mother of Jayson Tatum’s son Deuce. She is the step-daughter of Northwest High School alumnus John Gibbs and daughter of Julie Gibbs. Toriah began dating Tatum when they were still in high school, although it is not clear if Toriah attended the same school as Jayson, Chaminade College Preparatory School.
During Tatum’s first season in the NBA, Toriah got pregnant and their son was born on December 7th 2017. Although there is no information on when they broke up, it is assumed that not long after Deuce was born, Toriah and Jayson Tatum split up.

She relocated to Boston four years ago to pursue her career in the hair industry.
