Early life
She was born on 27th May 1987, in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. From a young age, the actress was interested in theatre and acting. She participated in school plays, which sparked her love for the stage. Her mother is Sylvia Starmer, and her dad is Graham Starmer; she has one sister.
Education
The actress went to school in Canada. After she finished elementary and high school, she joined Trinity Western University in Langley Township for more schooling where she met her husband. She pursued an acting course while she was there.
Career
She began building her professional acting portfolio in Seattle. Through utilizing various theatre and Broadway productions, including Boeing-Boeing at Vancouver’s Arts Club and One Slight Hitch at A Contemporary Theatre in Seattle, she was able to actively participate. Outside of the stage, she worked at The Cheesecake Factory to earn extra income.
Later, her manager introduced her to Andy Tennant, a famous screenwriter. In 2009, she acted in Live Henry Live.
In 2019, she was nominated for a Leo Award for Best Supporting Performance by a Female in a Dramatic Series for her work in Unspeakable. The same year, she was nominated for the Best Lead Performance By a Female in a Television Movie Leo Award for her role in A Godwink Christmas.
Family Life
Kimberly is married to Scot Sustad. They met each other for the first time at Trinity Western University. They liked each other and dated for some time before getting married. Scot is the founder of The Arrival Store.
On May 18th, 2017, the couple took to social media to share their exciting news with friends and family- they were expecting! On June 14th, 2017 they welcomed not one but two beautiful baby girls into the world who they named Vienna Wild and Ari Royal Sustad. She also has a third daughter whose name is currently unknown.
