Georgia Valerie Toffolo, popularly known as Toff, was born on October 23, 1994, in Torquay, Devon, England. As a British media and television personality, Toff gained prominence through her appearances on reality television.
She is best known for her role on the E4 series Made in Chelsea and for winning the seventeenth series of ITV’s I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! in 2017. Toff has also ventured into writing and publishing her autobiography Always Smiling in September 2018.
Early Age
Toffolo was born to Gary Bennett, a scrap metal dealer, and Nicola Toffolo, a property manager. She spent her early years between Devon and London. She attended several schools, including Stoodley Knowle Independent School for Girls, Torquay Girls’ Grammar School, The Maynard School, and Blundell’s School.
During her school years, Toff experienced bullying, which led her father to move her to Blundell’s as a boarder. Despite these challenges, Toff continued her education, eventually starting an LLB in law and politics at the University of Westminster. She had hoped to pursue a career in commercial law but dropped out to explore other opportunities.
Education
Toffolo’s educational journey began at Stoodley Knowle Independent School for Girls and continued through Torquay Girls’ Grammar School, The Maynard School, and Blundell’s School.
After experiencing bullying at her previous schools, she transitioned to Blundell’s as a boarder, which provided a more supportive environment. She then enrolled at the University of Westminster to study law and politics, aiming for a career in commercial law. However, she left the program before completing her degree.
Career
Toffolo’s career began with her participation in the reality television series Made in Chelsea, starting from its seventh series in 2014. She later appeared on Celebs Go Dating in September 2017. Her big break came when she won the seventeenth I’m a Celebrity series…Get Me Out of Here! in December 2017.
Following her win, she joined the This Morning team and later appeared on Celebrity Hunted – Stand Up to Cancer in 2019. Toffolo has also published her autobiography Always Smiling and a series of romance novels, including Meet Me in London and Meet Me in Hawaii.
In 2020, she participated in the documentary In Search of Perfect Skin, exploring the effects of acne medication.
Personal Life
Toffolo’s personal life has seen a few high-profile relationships. She dated James Middleton, the brother of the Duchess of Cambridge, until 2017, and later had a relationship with her co-star Jack Maynard in 2018.
She has been in a relationship with Brewdog co-founder James Watt since 2023. Toffolo has been a member of the Conservative Party since her school years and attended the 60th birthday party of Brexit Party founder Nigel Farage in 2024.
