Daisy Kent

Daisy Kathryn Rae Kent, born on September 8, 1998, is an American television personality, author, and activist known for her appearance on Season 28 of The Bachelor. At 25 years old, Daisy hails from Becker, Minnesota, and resides in San Diego, California. 

Her journey to fame began with her role as a contestant on The Bachelor, where she competed for the heart of Joey Graziadei. Daisy’s astrological sign is Virgo, and her unique blend of charm and resilience has made her a standout figure on reality television.

Early Age

Daisy Kent was born in Becker, Minnesota, to Brandon and Julie Kent. She grew up as the middle child among five siblings, with an early life that many would consider idyllic, spent on a Christmas tree farm. 

Despite a seemingly perfect childhood, Daisy faced significant health challenges from a young age. She experienced various medical issues, including hearing loss, seizures, fatigue, and migraines. Diagnosed with epilepsy in sixth grade, she later discovered that this was a misdiagnosis and was correctly diagnosed with Ménière’s disease.

Education

Daisy graduated from Becker High School in 2017 and attended San Diego State University. She pursued a degree in Communications, Digital, and Social Media there, graduating in 2021. Her education equipped her with media and communication skills and helped her develop a strong foundation for her future endeavors, including her career and activism.

Career

Before gaining national attention on The Bachelor, Daisy worked as an account executive at a software company in San Diego, California. Her professional life took a significant turn with the publication of her first children’s book, Daisy Doo: All The Sounds She Knew, in August 2023. The book tells the story of a young girl who learns to appreciate sounds again after receiving a cochlear implant. 

Daisy’s career also includes her role as the founder of Hear Your Heart, a nonprofit organization she started to support children with autoimmune disorders and hearing loss.

Personal Life

Daisy Kent’s personal life has been marked by her resilience and advocacy. She started documenting her cochlear implant journey on TikTok, where she gained a large following and used her platform to support others with similar conditions. 

Daisy’s social media presence includes posts about her experiences, singing, and family. She has also shown a deep passion for writing and has expressed her dreams of becoming a bestselling author.
