Justina Otuene Nkang, an undergraduate of the University of Port Harcourt has been found dead in her lover’s apartment. Her lover, identified simply as Collins has also been arrested.
Justina was a 300 level undergraduate of Biological Chemistry who was reported missing four days ago.
According to a report by PUNCH Newspapers, the tragic incident occurred along NTA Road, Mgbuoba in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State.
She was said to be undergoing her Industrial Training attachment at a popular private hospital located in D/Line, Port Harcourt. That was also where she was reported as last seen.
Sources close to the deceased said that her remains were seen at her boyfriend’s apartment which was where she went to after the close of work.
The source believes that the deceased was murdered for ritual purposes and said that the alleged murderer kept her body for three days and was about to dispose of her body in a refuse dump. He however was accosted by a vigilante group and that led to a start of investigations.
The alleged murderer identified as Collins has been arrested.
