Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have being in a custody battle for a while now. While Angeline Jolie wants sole custody, Brad Pitt is a asking for joint custody.

Come December 4th, Jolie and Pitt get to battle it out in court in a Private trial. This means that media coverage will be unlikely but we will see how it all plays out.

Together, Jolie and Pitt have six kids together PAX, Maddox,  Shiloh,  Zaharah, Knox and Vivienne and they cannot seem to agree over the future of these children even after 2 years.

According to  USA Today, the couple has refused to see eye to eye on this matter, but may work together to find an out of court settlement eventually.

In September 2016, Jolie filed for a divorce from Brad Pitt citing irreconcilable differences as a reason for the divorce. The couple were together for 12 years and had a rocky marriage for two of those 12 years. This divorce was also two years after the romantic wedding in the French countryside .

Now, their dispute is about the custody of their children. USA Today reports that she wants sole physical custody while Brad Pitt wants to share physical custody.

In November 2017, Jolie claimed that she and Pitt had reached an agreement concerning the custody of the children, adding that she was going to continue having full custody. But Pitt immediately disputed that, claiming it was only an extension of an existing interim agreement.

January 2018 saw the couple hiring a private judge and by June 2018, the judge issued an order to Jolie warning her to encourage the children to forge a relationship with their father or she could lose custody. The judge stressed this because according to him, it was important that their children should have healthy and strong relationships with their parents.

In August 2018, Jolie accused Pitt of not paying child support for a year and half but Pitt hit back saying he loaned Jolie $8 million for her current Los Angeles residence and has paid over $1.3 million in bills.

However the matter plays out, we can only wish the best to the children as they are the ones whose private lives get to suffer the most.
