Phinny’s Talent Studio Presents Second Art Exhibition For Kids

Phinny’s Talent Studio in partnership with Children Living with Cancer Foundation is having its second edition of the art exhibition for kids and teens in Nigeria from the 1st to 3rd of September, 2017 at the freedom Park, Lagos.

This exhibition which is the first of its kind in the country is aimed at showcasing and celebrating young artists and creating awareness and support for children living with Cancer. It is themed: COLOURS OF HOPE.

Its maiden edition which took place last year at the J.P. Clark Centre, UNILAG, was attended by top schools in the country, representatives of ministries in the state, and notable personalities in the arts and academic world. Dr. Tunji Sotimirin, a veteran of the arts, was the Chairman, Mr. Jimoh Ganiyu, an International cartoonist, and lecturer, was the curator of the exhibition.

The exhibition is an initiative of Phinny’s Talent Studio, an organization where artistic talents in kids and teens are discovered, groomed and managed. This is in partnership with Children Living With Cancer Foundation; a non-profit charity organisation dedicated to the care and welfare of children with childhood cancers and their families.

The exhibition this year, launches the series of programmes that marks the childhood Cancer awareness month which is September. Several personalities from entertainment, arts and academic world will be present to give their support. Children living with cancer schools and individually talented young artists will also be present to showcase their works of art.
According to the C.E.O. of PTS, Miss Iwatan Isreal Josephine, this year’s exhibition will be better and will enlighten more people in the country through visuals (artworks)
