Chemena Kamali is a 41-year-old fashion designer who was recently appointed as the new creative director of Chlo\u00e9, a French fashion house.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She was born in D\u00fcsseldorf, Germany in 1981 and studied fashion design at the Trier University of Applied Sciences. She later graduated from Central Saint Martins, a constituent college of the University of the Arts in London, in 2007.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Kamali began her career at Chlo\u00e9 as part of Phoebe Philo\u2019s team and later rejoined as design director under Clare Waight Keller in 2013.\u00a0She has also worked at Alberta Ferretti and Strenesse in Milan and most recently worked as a consultant for the LA-based denim brand Frame.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
