She is especially recognized for her work with the BBC and ITV, where she co-hosted popular shows like Rip Off Britain and regularly appeared on programs such as &#8216;This Morning&#8217; and &#8216;Loose Women.&#8217;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Gloria also gained attention in 2022 when she participated in &#8216;The Masked Singer&#8217; as the Snow Leopard. With a career spanning several decades, she remains a prominent figure in British media at 84.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Early Age<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Gloria Hunniford was born into a Protestant family in Portadown, Northern Ireland. Her father, a magician, was an active member of the Orange Order.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Gloria had two siblings\u2014an older sister named Lena and a younger brother named Charles. During her teenage years, she spent some time in Kingston, Ontario, Canada, which she credits as a formative period that broadened her outlook on life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Career<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Gloria began her career in the performing arts as a singer before transitioning into broadcasting. She started as a production assistant at UTV in Belfast, where she met her first husband, Don Keating. Her television career took off in the 1970s and 1980s, during which she presented &#8216;Good Evening Ulster&#8217; and other shows like &#8216;Sunday Sunday&#8217; and &#8216;We Love TV.&#8217;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Over the years, Gloria appeared on numerous TV programs, recorded music albums, and even performed at the Royal Variety Performance in 1985. She became a regular panelist on &#8216;Loose Women&#8217; and co-presented &#8216;Rip Off Britain&#8217; alongside Angela Rippon. Gloria also hosted radio shows on BBC Radio 2 and remained active in broadcasting well into her later years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Personal Life<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Gloria married Don Keating in 1970, and they had three children: Caron, Paul, and Michael. Sadly, their daughter Caron passed away from breast cancer in 2004, leading Gloria to establish the Caron Keating Foundation, a charity dedicated to cancer research.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After divorcing Don in 1992, Gloria married hairdresser Stephen Way in 1998.
